Dr. Sarkar is a passionate educator believing in total development of students emphasizing on intricate details and building up understanding and correlations therein. In addition to teaching assigned courses, his spontaneous engagements in improving various aspects of teaching are as follows,

New Course Development - CHEM F431: Sustainable Chemistry using Renewables, new course packages for new programs (proposed)
New Laboratory Setup - Designed new teaching laboratory (Room 3209) for new equipment-based experimental setups (from PHYWE, Germany) for CHEM F341: Chemical Experimentation II
Revisiting course curriculum - Detailed review of inorganic chemistry courses and modifications therein
Redesign of Laboratory Manuals - Completely new design of laboratory manual for the CHEM F110: Chemistry Laboratory course targeting enhancement in student performance and evaluation
New Experiment / equipment use - Introduced several new experiments for CHEM F341 course
Improved content delivery/ pedagogy - Prepared digital content (lecture slides) for several entire courses such as CHEM F431, CHEM F337, CHEM F333, CHEM F214, CHEM F111 etc., and detailed online evaluation modules for CHEM F110 using Nalanda (Moodle platform)
