Prateek teaches humanities courses at BITS Pilani. He has significant experience in teaching literatures in English at colleges under the University of Delhi between 2007 and 2013. He held a teaching assistantship at the Centre for English Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University between 2006 and 2007 and South Asian Council, Yale University between 2010 and 2011. He worked at the University of Queensland between 2017 and 2018 as a drama tutor. In Feb 2018, he also interned as Assistant Artistic Director at Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble, Queensland, Australia during the production of Shorts, a skit based on the condensed version of three Shakespeare plays. Between 2018 and 2020, Prateek taught courses on World Literature and Modern Indian Theatre at SRM University, Amaravati. While researching at Northwestern University between 2021 and 2022 as a postdoctoral Fulbright fellow, he delivered class lectures for theatre courses. Moreover, he has written and directed a number of theatre skits and street plays.
