Virendra Singh Shekhawat is an Associate Professor in Department of Computer Science & Information Systems at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Pilani, India. He is also holding the position of Faculty In-charge for Educational Technology support. He did his PhD in Computer Science & Engineering from BITS Pilani in the year 2014. He also holds M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, M.Sc in Physics from BIT Mesra, Ranchi and MDS University Ajmer respectively. His broad research interests lie in the areas of Computer Networking, Distributed Systems, and Computer Architecture. Currently he is carrying out research in the area of Delay Tolerant Networks (DTN), Multi-robot Coordination Systems and Software Defined Networks (SDN). He has published research papers in Journals, International and national conferences of repute. He is a professional member of the IEEE and ACM.
