Research Interests

My research interest lies in the areas like Optical WDM node Architecture design and modeling, Routing and Wavelength Assignment (RWA) algorithms, Wavelength Reservation protocol design, Traffic congestion control algorithms/protocols, Performance Analysis of Internet Protocols, Queuing Models, Overlay Networks, Traffic Engineering and QoS Routing in Software Defined Networks (SDNs), Delay Tolerant Networks (DTNs), and Coordinated Multi-robot Systems (cMRS)
 
Current Research Focus:
Performance Analysis of Internet Protocols: The performance analysis of protocol needs to be carried out to check their vulnerabilities, compatibility with other similar protocols, correctness of an implementation, conformance to an existent standard.
Delay Tolerant Networking (DTNs): Congestion control algorithms for DTNs, DTN Routing Algorithms, Opportunistic Network Architecture Design and Implementation, Information Dissemination in Vehicular DTNs
Software Defined Networking (SDNs): Implementation of traffic engineering solutions like load balancing, application/content based routing, traffic filtering, traffic flow management, traffic analysis.
Coordinated Multi-robot Systems (cMRS): Coordination in multi-robot systems can be realized through either explicit or implicit communication between the robots. Explicit communication requires information exchange between robots through message transfer.
