"Community Development and Conservation: Status of the Implementation of Forest Rights Act in Two States of India", Paper presented in the "Development Studies Association of IRELAND (DSA IRELAND), at the Annual Conference 2016  "Beyond Aid? Innovative Models for Social Justice" held at Dublin, Ireland from 24- 25, December 2016. Abstract published in the conference proceedings.

Selected Conference Organization & Chairing in International Conferences:
 
    • Chaired the Session 7 (Social mobilization and community forestry) of the FLARE 3rd Annual Meeting, 2017 held on September 30th at the Stockholm University (Sweden).
       
      Co-Convenor of the "National Convention on Current Practices and Future of Classroom Teaching at Higher Education Level" organised by the TLC and the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, during 30th Sept.-01 Oct. 2016.

    • Organized and Co-ordinated of the Intensive Workshop on Research Methodology organized by HSS Department, at BITS Pilani, Rajasthan Campus from 9-11 February, 2014.
    • Organized and chaired a panel titled, ‘Social change as the story of contemporary Indian society and, Social scientists as the story tellers’, in the 40th World Congress of the International Institute of Sociology (IIS) on “After Western Hegemony: Social Science and its Publics”. New Delhi, India, from 16 February till 19 February, 2012.
    • Organized and chaired a panel (Panel 40) on ‘Performing social change: re-reading policy interventions and innovations’ for the “6th International Conference on Interpretative Policy Analysis (IPA2011), on “Discursive Spaces, Politics, Practices and Power” held at University of Cardiff from 23 to 25 June, 2011.
    • Organized an international workshop on "Rethinking India's Local Governance: Poverty, Participation and Political Society" on 22 October, 2010 at the Centre for the Study of Law and Governance, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU, New Delhi, India) in collaboration with The University of Sheffield, United Kingdom; Centre for Studies in Social Sciences, Calcutta and Centre for Development Studies, Trivandrum.
    • Organized an international workshop and Presented 2 sessions of project findings related to West Bengal (from my previous assignment/project funded by ESRC-DFID in India 2008 &09) to the international audience at University of Sheffield, United Kingdom in March 2010.
    • Organized and coordinated the ‘End Symposia for IDPAD Research programme', in India and the Netherlands in conjunction with the NWO during August to November 2006. Coordinators on the Dutch side: Dr. Joop de Wit (ISS) and Dr, Cora Govers (NWO).
    • Organized and coordinated the 4th ‘Development Dialogue’ conference (09-06-2006) at International Institute of Social Studies, The Hague, The Netherlands.
