After completing BSc and MSc in Chemistry from Calcutta University (RKMRC, Narendrapur) and IIT Bombay, respectively, Dr. Jana joined the group of Prof. Andreas Heuer at the University of Muenster, Germany, in August 2010 as a Ph.D. candidate and received the degree in March 2015. Before joining as an assistant professor at BITS Pilani in February 2022, Dr. Jana worked as a postdoctoral research associate at University of Goettingen, Germany, Free University of Brussels, Belgium, and Aalto University, Finland.
