Eligibility Criteria For Ph.D. Admission

  • First Division in both B.E. / B. Tech/ M.Sc. (First Degree) and M.E. / M. Tech (Higher Degree) or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or allied disciplines (minimum 60% or equivalent in case where the university does not declare First class).
  • NET, DST, DBT qualified candidates with First Degree only will also be considered to pursue full-time Ph.D if they have government scholarships to support them for the full duration of the Ph.D. program.
  • As per the advertisement, a part-time applicant must be a regular employee of a reputed organization.

Travel Grant for Faculty and Research Scholars

This grant is to support the travelling of BITS faculties to attend National or International academic conferences/seminars/symposia for presenting paper/poster.
