I was a Post Graduate in Biological Sciences from Jamia Millia Islamia in 1992 and Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, under the joint guidance of  Prof. P. Pardha Saradhi, Jamia Millia Islamia and Prof. Prasanna Mohanty, Jawaharlal Nehru University, in 1999. I worked as a Research Associate in Department of Molecular Biology, Delhi University, South Campus; School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University - New Delhi; Department of Biochemistry, I I Sc., Bangalore; Department of Biochemistry, IARI, New Delhi and School of Biotechnology, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. I joined as a Lecturer in the Deparment of Biological Sciences, BITS Pilani in March 2005, worked as Assistant Professor from Aug 2008 to  May 2021 and presently working as an Associate Professor since June 2021 in Pilani Campus.
