I have worked on Nitrate Assimilatory Mechanism in Spirulina Platensis, a well known Cyanobacteria. At present I am interested in characterizing the Alkalinity Tolerance Mechanism of the Cyanobacteria Arthrospira Platensis NIES 39 and the role of Na+/H+ antiporters in imparting alkaline tolerance.
