I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance, BITS, Pilani, Pilani Campus. My area of specialization are Development Economics, Resources and Environmental Economics and Behavioural Economics. I opt for an interactive teaching style that encourages student participation and enthusiasm while facilitating learning for both. I do like meeting young minds and get inspired with their passion and energy they exhibit at whatever they do. I like to do innovation in teaching and evaluation methods, try to link theory and practical facts in teaching, and develop frequently new method of teaching and strategies to facilitate need based learning.

Received a First class Master’s. in Economics, from the Department of Economics, University of  Hyderabad, Hyderabad  and a Doctorate in Environmental Economics from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. My research interests include Environmental and Resource Economics, Development Economics, International Economics and Behavioural Economics.
