My Masters and PhD thesis deals with metallic failure subjected to complex stress-state, but it never restrain me to take up research challenging areas. I am open and interested to look investigate Composite Structures, Bio-mechanics, Mechanics of Materials, Fatigue, Impact Mechanics, Material Modeling and Material Characterization.
The other shades in my research spectrum are the response of the structures in Complex and Non-ideal loading in Aggressive Environment. Modeling of these extreme loading condition is of great use for both industrial and academic research.
Migrating from the FEA based failure analysis methods, I want to explore data-driven method. The plan is to explore damage detection and life estimation using Artificial intelligence. The extension of Machine learning (ML) and Deep Learning in fracture mechanics has a very promising future.
