Organizing secretary for the International Convention on Water Resources Development and Management (ICWRDM) held at BITS Pilani, Rajasthan, during October 2008.

This convention was held in BITS Pilani from October 23rd - October 26th, 2008 and was attended by about 150 International and National Delegates.
The theme area of the conference was Water Conservation and Water Resources Development.
The conference was followed by two-days workshop and attended by representatives by the villages and various school teachers.
A field visit was organized to Raila Village at Pilani to show the Rain Water Harvesting Structures to representative of villages and school teachers to disseminate the knowledge among the masses.

The Convention was supported by Rajasthan Association of North America (RANA); Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi; Ministry of Water Resources (MoWR), New Delhi; University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi; Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi; Centre for Desert Development Technology (CDDT); Tehri Hydro Development Corporation (THDC), Rishikesh; Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF), New Delhi; Space and Environmental Engineering Services (SEES-An Eco Friendly Group), Dehradun. The Gold sponsors of the convention were ITT Watermark and ITT Corporation India Pvt. Ltd., Vadodara and Vatika Group, Gurgaon.
