PAMLA Travel Grant for Graduate Students for presenting a paper at Chaminade University, Hawaii, 2010.
MLA Travel Grant for attending the MLA Conference at Philadelphia, 2009.
Drew University Dissertation Travel Grant for research in India, 2008. Researched Indian writing in English at University of Calcutta and interviewed Dr. Indira Goswami, the author on whom I was writing.
Graduate Merit Scholarship by Drew University, 2007-2008. This is given annually to graduate students who show potential for quality research and writing, 2007-2008.
Graduate Student Involvement Award by Drew University, 2007. This is awarded to a graduate student annually for his/her service to the school.
Drew University International Student Award, 2003-2005. This award is given for a period of two years to an international student based on merit and financial need.
National Scholarship by the Government of India, 1994. This award is given annually to students who have excelled in their school leaving examination.
