| Project Title |
AI and NLP Based Analysis of Survey Responses for Understanding User Perceptions |
| Project Description |
This project focuses on understanding user perceptions and experiences using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP). The study combines structured survey responses and open-ended feedback to identify patterns in user comfort, safety perception, preferences, and key concerns.
The intern will work with an anonymised real-world survey dataset containing demographic information, behavioural characteristics, perception ratings, and textual comments. The work will involve data preparation, basic analysis, and interpretation of response patterns across different user groups and scenarios.
Special attention will be given to the analysis of open-ended responses to understand common concerns, expectations, and recurring themes expressed by participants. The objective is to generate meaningful insights that explain user perception and highlight the major factors influencing their experiences.
The project will provide hands-on exposure to real-world data analysis and interpretation in a research environment. Regular guidance will be provided to support problem understanding, structured analysis, and clear presentation of results.
Expected outcomes
Cleaned and organised survey dataset Summary of key perception patterns across users Identification of major factors influencing user perception Thematic insights from open-ended responses Visual summaries and a concise technical report
Good quality work may be developed further for a journal paper. |
