Biography
Sandeep Joshi received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi, in 2019, where he was selected under the Visvesvaraya Ph.D. scheme for Electronics & IT sponsored by Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. He received the M.E. degree in Communication Engineering from BITS Pilani in 2009 and the B.Tech (Hons.) degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from the Uttar Pradesh Technical University in 2006. He worked as a Chief Engineer in the Mobile Communications research group at the Samsung R&D Institute Bangalore, where he was involved in research in the area of beyond 5G/6G communication systems. He has qualified UGC-NET in the field of Electronic science. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, and a Fellow of The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) India. He is an Editor of the IETE Journal of Research. His research interests include 5G/6G communications, smart grid communications, molecular communication, and AI in wireless communications.
