Asish Bera is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems, BITS Pilani, Rajasthan. He received Ph.D. degree from the Jadavpur University, Kolkata, and M. Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, India. He worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate (UKIERI-DST) at the Department of Computer Science, Edge Hill University, Lancashire, U.K. His research interests include Image Classification, Biometrics, and Human Activity Recognition. He has (co-)authored few research articles in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing, published in top-tier scientific venues. He is a member of IEEE and Sports Engineering Association, India.
