About the Faculty:
He is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at BITS Pilani, Pilani campus (Dec. 2018 to till to date). Before joining at BITS Pilani, he worked as Adhoc Faculty in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Calicut (July 2018 to Dec. 2018).
He received his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (defended on 03/10/2018) and his Ph.D. thesis was on the thermohydraulic analysis of various types of printed circuit heat exchangers. He received M.Tech in Thermal science from University of Kerala with first class in 2011 and his master's thesis was on mixed convection from tandemly placed flush mounted heat sources in a parallel plate channel. He completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from University of Calicut with first class with honors in 2009.
His areas of interest are Compact heat exchangers, heat transfer in micro and minichannels, rarefied gas dynamics, physiological fluid dynamics, multiphase flows and fluid structure interaction.
