About the Faculty:
Revendra holds a Ph.D from Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Science. His Ph.D dissertation is on “Financial Resources, Scaling and Performance of Social Enterprises”. He has a Masters in Engineering (Applied Electronics) from PSG College of Technology, and B.Tech from Sri Venkateswara University.
Revendra believes that market and enterprise-based solutions can advance human interests such as socio-economic equality and environmental sustainability. His research interests include but not limited to explore the role of finance in socio-economic growth of low-income communities, financial instruments for social impact, and environmental sustainability, and social entrepreneurship.
His teaching interests are: finance, business analytics, entrepreneurship, and research methods.
Revendra has participated in Legislative Fellowship Program supported by Department of State, Government of USA.
Revendra worked in IT services delivery and product development for 4 years for investment banking and telecom clients. Besides, he has experience in consulting for non-profit organisations and government agencies.
